The Finishing Stitch is all about handmade crafts.  For over 25 years, I have been creating handcrafted goods.  Dolls, decoratives of all sorts, quilts, and Japanese Bunka embroidery.  My favorites are my WAIFs, snowmen, and bunka.  This site is meant to be all about my WAIFs, or Whimsical Angels, Imps, and Fairies.  I enjoy creating each of these as every one has their own personality that speaks to me.  Many of my customers buy the WAIF with that look and sense that speaks to them.  I also create WAIFs for people that like a certain look of one of my WAIFs, but want different hair, eyes, skin color, or even clothing.


Why "Finishing Stitch"?

Long ago when I came up with the name for my business, there was so much that I do that I couldn't call it one particular thing.  I have been sewing and crafting for over 25 years.  I do, or have tried, pretty much everything in the craft arena.  I still love to sew and create.
